Mamelodi Sundowns have found out which teams they will face in the CAF Champions League group stages after the draw took place in Cairo on Monday.
Downs qualified for the group stages after beating Seychelles side La Passe 15-1 on aggregate in the second qualifying round after being one of the teams to have a bye in the first round.
Masandawana are among the favourites for this year’s competition, as they aim to lift their second continental trophy after 2016.
They have been drawn in Group B with record champions Al Ahly (Egypt), Al Hilal (Sudan) and Coton Sport (Cameroon).
Both Downs and Al Ahly already faced each other in the group stages last season, when Masandawana won both ties. It will also be a reunion between Percy Tau and his former side.
