Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has commented on whether the club’s new additions Edmilson Dove and Caleb Bimenyimana will feature in their match against Marumo Gallants.
The duo have been waiting with abaited breath to feature in the gold and black of Amakhosi following a delay in their work permits being granted.
For Bimenyimana, he got his first run out when he featured as a second half substitute against AmaZulu; however for Edmilson, his wait to make his Amakhosi debut continues, although he could feature in their match against Gallants at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday.
“Dove and Caleb are coming on well. We don’t want to put them under pressure, we want them to settle in well with the hope that when they come in they add value,” Zwane told the club’s official website.
“We have no doubt they’ve got good quality, we need to bring everyone on board in terms of understanding the way we want to play and then try and incorporate everyone who is new in the setup. When the time comes, they should be ready to play,” he said.
Zwane says the competition in the Chiefs squad is something that provides him with vast options when it comes to selecting his starting XI on matchday.
“There’s competition for places, it’s not easy and I’ve got a headache making decisions about who to start with. It is healthy competition and that’s what I like,” he concluded.
