There could be a potential switch of plans in the Kaizer Chiefs midfield. Yusuf Maart has given coach Arthur Zwane a new idea.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane might be facing a big decision. Amakhosi’s Yusuf Maart delivered a blinding performance in a position he was not exactly brought in for.
KAIZER CHIEFS SIGN YUSUF MAART
As The South African reported in July, Amakhosi finally got their man from Sekhukhune United. As early evidence of his quality, Maart, also known as “Maarinator,” was handed a three-year deal with two additional years as an option.
The Bafana Bafana international was meant to be the club’s all-action number six, but what happened a fortnight ago may change things.
The 26-year-old from Atlantis, Western Cape, was tried in an advanced number 8 role against SuperSport United. He dished out a marvelous performance that included a Man of the Match award.
Did the result mean Zwane will now continue with Maart in the number 8 role instead of moving him back to the 6? We shall find out against AmaZulu this coming weekend.
