Reports coming out of Burundi are that Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana who had a trial stint at Kaizer Chiefs has found a new club, despite suggestions that he was set to sign for Amakhosi.
The 24-year-old spent three weeks on trial with Chiefs who are in desperate need of a new striker.
Word from within the Chiefs camp indicated that the lanky striker had impressed coach Arthur Zwane and his technical team, with 10111 himself stating that the Burundi international was the best trialist they had during this period.
However, it appears that Chiefs will not be signing Bimenyimana after all.
Rather, it appears that he has made a sensational return to his former club Rayon Sports where he has been training since leaving South Africa.
A social media post from what appears to be the club’s official Instagram account shows the lanky striker alongside the club’s president with the caption “he is back. Bonfils Caleb”
Although he was nowhere to be seen in the official team picture posted shortly thereafter.
