Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed their latest appointment, as the club prepares for the new season under head coach Arthur Zwane.
As reported by the Siya crew earlier this week, Amakhosi have appointed Muzi Maluleke, who will join the technical team led by the legendary Arthur Zwane.
Maluleke will serve as a senior sports scientist and strength conditioning coach for the senior team. Maluleke has recently been working with GladAfrica Championship side University of Pretoria and has been trusted to work with the senior players at Naturena, to help condition the player in what's expected to be another tough season for the side as they look to end the trophy drought which has gone on since 2015.
Amakhosi started pre-season last week, after signing new players Yusuf Maart, Siyethemba Sithebe, Dillon Solomons, George Matlou, Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Ashley du Preez and Zitha Kwinikwa. The club is expected to make more signings before the transfer window, with Kobamelo Kodisang and Given Msimango the priority targets, Both players are under contract at Sporting Braga and TS Galaxy respetively and it would take some convincing for Amakhosi to bring them on board.
But with two months left before the close of the window, Amakhosi still have some time to ensure that both deals get over the line.
