Kaizer Chiefs star Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has won the 2021/22 PSL Goal of the Season award.
Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has won the 2021/22 PSL Goal of the Season after his long-range strike in Kaizer Chiefs' 2-0 win over Sekhukhune United in December was recognised as the best goal to have been scored across the campaign.
The 22-year-old, whose winning goal came in the form of an incredible left-footed effort from outside the box, overcame competition from teammates Keagan Dolly and Reeve Frosler to claim this season's accolade.
Orlando Pirates' Deon Hotto and Royal AM's Thabo Matlaba were also in the running but it was ultimately Ngcobo who emerged victorious, capping a season in which he scored just twice across 16 appearances.
He follows in the footsteps of former SuperSport United midfielder Teboho Mokoena who claimed the award following the 2020/21 season, while ex-Chiefs forward Lebogang Manyama won it the season before.
