Shakoane reacting to the club's achievement, says that the club always wanted to dominate the league in honour of their fans for the support.
"This big achievement was started at the beginning of the season, as we've planned to win our fifth consecutive and twelve trophy in the PSL era. We manage to achieve that, we are happy for the fans for always being with us and spending their money travelling to watch us. This trophy is for them," Shakoane told the media in Durban.
Shakoane says that the club made a decision to reward players with R15 million, plus the prize of winning the Nedbank Cup.
"People don't know how things work at Mamelodi Sundowns. They just speak, but let me tell you, the money that was won (for the League) R15 million, will go to the players. Nothing will go management, including the one we will get from the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.
"So if you motivate them like that, they will always deliver, Unlike others that just take all the money for themselves."
