Former AmaZulu FC midfielder Njabulo Manqana has advised the club to sign an Orlando Pirates midfielder to replace Kaizer Chiefs-bound Siyethemba Sithebe.
Usuthu are expected to find quick solutions to replace Sithebe, who is closing on a move to Amakhosi as the club believed to have stopped negotiating with him to stay.
Manqana strongly believes Orlando Pirates midfielder Nkanyiso Zungu is a perfect replacement for Sithebe.
"They must push for Nkanyiso Zungu, he is a perfect replacement for Sithebe, he knows the culture of the club and he is not used at Orlando Pirates, bring him back," Manqana told the Siya crew.
Manqana also feel it about time AmaZulu and other KwaZulu-Natal teams to start taking care of their talent from development.
"I think AmaZulu should look at their development, there's so much talent in KZN, they must trust their own and we've had challenges where players are not trusted enough here, get rejected and end up burying them in Gauteng," he added.
"They must change on how to manage the talent because KZN has so much gifted young boys, we need KZN teams not only AmaZulu to change their mindsets and start respecting their own by giving them whatever they deserve including financial security.
"They should push for Nkanyiso Zungu as Siyethemba Sithebe's replacement and hopefully they will try to keep him beyond this season."
