Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Benedict Vilakazi has laughed off talk of Kaizer Chiefs challenging for the DStv Premiership title.
Amakhosi are currently in the second position in the DStv Premiership log, eight points behind Masandawana who hasn't lost any game this season.
However, 'Tso' has responded to those talks by saying Stuart Baxter's men are not yet there to be mentioned in same sentence as title contenders because of their style of play.
"(Laughs) from my point view I don't think Kaizer Chiefs can challenge the league with the way they play their game. In my view, I don't think anyone can challenge this Sundowns," Vilakazi told the Siya crew.
Vilakazi understsnds the excitment of Amakhosi faithful but insist that this Sundowns team will probably wrap this title hopes from other teams as early as February.
"I know Chiefs fans are happy but they reaching if they think they are challenging for the league, I expect Sundowns to wrap this in February, they are brutal this season."
