Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Makhosonke Bhengu has identified two key positions that needs special attention at the Buccaneers.
Pirates have started their season very slowly and that has forced coaches, Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids to steer the ship as caretaker coaches.
Bhengu believes both men can still bring change at the club, as long as they are given respect and trust to achieve things with the team.
"They need to be patient, they need to be given space. Working under pressure can also give them challenges. It is still early days to panic. Nothing has been achieved in the league yet," Bhengu told the Siya crew.
"The coaches must be given space and be allowed to do their jobs without focusing on whether they are good enough for the job or not."
The Buccaneers have been inconsistent this season and according to Bhengu, the biggest challenge at the club is their midfield and defence.
"'I think they must speak about their defence and midfield. They must be honest because that is their biggest challenge for now. They have been conceding unnecessary goals and their combination play is not really heppening."
