Orlando Pirates latest recruit Kwame Peprah has revealed why he chose the Buccaneers despite multiple offers on the table and whether he could be the solution to the club’s scoring woes.
The Ghanaian joined the Buccaneers on the back of a bright season with King Faisal in the Ghanaian Premier League.
The 20-year-old managed an impressive 12 goals in 32 league games last season, which prompted the Soweto giants to snap him up on a three-year contract.
Now that he has gotten his first taste of action as a Pirates player, coming on for a cameo role in Pirates’ 3-1 win over Chippa United, the Ghanaian has revealed why he opted for Pirates despite having various offers available to him.
“I chose Orlando Pirates because I knew that it is the next step for me to build my career and also the PSL will help me improve my career and that is why I joined Pirates,” he told the club’s media department.
