Orlando Pirates' interest in Sekhukhune United's Chibuike Ohizu could be rebuffed as the DStv Premiership newbies attempt to ensure that the club continues it's stellar debut season in the topflight.
Ohizu has attracted interest from Orlando Pirates as well as clubs in Egypt, as confirmed by sources in the know.
Ohizu, 25, has scored four goals and has been impressive for MacDonald Makhubedu’s team with his high work-rate.
Indications are that Babina Noko could be approached for the services of the attacker at the end of the season.
With his contract coming to an end in June next year, after Babina Noko offered the player a one-year contract extension at the end of last season, Siya sources have revealed that the club is keen on further extending the deal.
“Sekhukhune United is keen on extending Chibuike Ohizu’s contract. The club wants to offer the player a longer contract as he is still very much in their plans,” said the source.
