News reaching the Siya crew is that former Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates striker Justin Shonga has been offered a contract worth around R10 million as he ponders his next move.
Shonga has been without a club since parting ways with the Citizens at the end of last season.
Sources in the know have revealed to the Siya crew that the Zambian international has been offered a deal worth around R10 million by Algerian club JS Kabylie.
“Algerian club JS Kabylie has offered Justin Shonga a contract. They have offered him a three-year deal worth R10 million,” confirmed a source.
Following his disappointment of not signing with AmaZulu after training with the team in Durban in August, Shonga has been assessing his options abroad.
The 24-year-old was previously linked with a move to Saudi Arabia though it now looks like Algeria could be his destination.
