Orlando Pirates concluded their seventh signing of the July/August transfer window, although the Siya crew has been informed that the player will be sent on loan for the 2021/22 season.

Pirates are believed to have offered former Chippa United youngster Ronaldo Maarman a three-year contract, after the highly-rated 21-year-old was identified as a future prospect who could add to the successes of the Soweto giants in the future.

The Siya crew has since been informed that the attacking midfielder did indeed sign with the Buccaneers before the transfer window closed on Tuesday, although the news was not made official by the club.

It is understood that the player is set to be loaned to Cape Town All Stars in the GladAfrica Championship for this season.

Last season, Maarman played for Igugu Lekapa while on loan from Chippa and scored five goals and bagged four assists for the Mother City outfit.

Maarman is the second new signing to be sent on loan by Pirates, after the club also loaned former Free State Stars winger Monnapule Saleng to Swallows FC for this season.

Other signings made by Bucs during the July/August transfer window, as confirmed by the club, are Goodman Mosele, Bandile Shandu, Kwanda Mngonyama, Olisa Ndah and Kwame Peprah.
