A former Kaizer Chiefs player has given praise to the new central midfield combination of Phathutshedzo Nange and Cole Alexander.
Nange and Alexander have started every game so far for Amakhosi this season, playing alongside one another in a new-look Chiefs midfield. This seems to be the combination head coach Stuart Baxter is relying on at the moment, with the two experienced campaigners already forming a good understanding.
Former Chiefs player Robert Nauseb feels their understanding will grow from strength to strength, if they continue to play together.
"It's a good combination for me. If they can be played together in every game, they will get better by the looks of things," Nauseb tells the Siya crew.
"I feel they complement one another well. They just need to form a great understanding between them. It's a good start for them. I think they can play a key role for the team this season."
The two players are likely to start again in the middle of the park when Amakhosi take on Royal AM at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
