AmaZulu goalkeeper Veli Mothwa has made bold statement about Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their clash this weekend.
Amakhosi are still struggling with results and Mothwa is aware of the battle ahead of this weekend's clash between the two sides.
"We playing against a wounded lion, they have wounds and we also have our own. It will be a good game because both teams are desperate for three points," Mothwa told the media ahead of this weekend's clash.
"Is Kaizer Chiefs still a big team? Yeah, back then they were but now I doubt it. We can play them anytime now with due respect.
"AmaZulu FC are also a big team, but on the field of play, it is about being big, it is about who wins on the day. We talk on the field, action speaks on the day."
Mothwa is not worried about the number of supporters Chiefs have, they won't be intimidated the fans.
"Fans are not playing, we are playing. I can assure you that the character we had last season, you will see this weekend. No one is bigger than anyone on the field."
