Swallows coach Brandon Truter was placed on special leave, as previously reported by the Siya crew, and a former Swallows player has commented on the developments at the club.
The Birds failed to mimic their debut season in the topflight and former Swallows star suspects interference from a third party.
The former midfielder expressed his disapproval with the decision, and is of the opinion that Truter deserves respect after his achievements at the club.
"The issue of Brandon Truter doesn't sit well with me, especially when you look at what he has done with the club. Swallows plays one of the most entertaining football styles in the league under him," Makhanya told the Siya crew.
"We should be asking if the coach is getting the proper resources in terms of players he wants. I feel it is unfair to see him in this situation. He promoted them from the GladAfrica Championship and made it to the top eight in their debut season in the DStv Premiership.
"I wouldn't know what is going on at the club but from where I'm standing, Truter should be allowed to continue alongside coach Simo Dladla because they compliment each other. I suspect there is a third person that is instigating what is happening at the club, and interfering with coaches."
Dukuduku is hoping that the club will reconsider their decision and allow the coach to keep his job.
"I'm hoping they don't let him go and rethink their decision because Truter is one of the best coaches in the league," he added.
