News reaching the Siya crew is that a senior team player is no longer training with the first team, with the possibility of being released.
As reported by the Siya crew, Sundowns were looking to loan out Ivorian defender Soumahoro Bangaly, with Chippa United and SuperSport United believed to have shown an interest, though nothing materialised.
Now the Siya crew has been informed that Sundowns could part ways with the player, which would make him a free agent. It is understood that Bangaly is not training with the first team at the moment and a decision will be made on his future soon.
Bangaly, according to Siya sources, is not in the plans of the Sundowns technical with so much competitions for places at the club, after they went into the market to bring in more players.
Bangaly, who is in the final year of his contract with the reigning DSTV Premiership champions, has not played a first team game since March, when Sundowns beat GladAfrica Championship side Polokwane City in the Nedbank Cup.
