Mamelodi Sundowns are sweating over the fitness of six players, including talisman Themba Zwane, ahead of hosting Swallows this weekend.
The Brazilians blew away Golden Arrows 4-1 on aggregate to reach the final of the MTN8 and set up a chance at an early trophy, but they did so without key players goalkeeper Denis Onyango, Thapelo Morena, Mosa Lebusa and Rivaldo Coetzee.
Prior to Sundowns hosting Arrows on Wednesday night, the club announced on their social media platforms that the trio had joined a list of players who are either still recovering from long term injuries or have been on the mend for a few weeks now.
Those include Lebo Maboe, Khuliso Mudau, Promise Mkhuma and another keeper in Kennedy Mweene.
No return dates were given – and now the Siya crew has been led to believe that Zwane is also an injury doubt having already managed to play on Wednesday with a heavily strapped thigh, which he looked to have aggravated in the early stages of the match.
