Kaizer Chiefs left back Sifiso Hlanti has been impressed with the team’s attitude in training after their recent setback and has warned Marumo Gallants that Sunday’s encounter will not be easy for the hosts.
Amakhosi were given a 4-1 hammering by Royal AM s the Soweto giants succumbed to their second straight defeat in the DSTV Premiership. As they prepare to face Gallants at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Stuart Baxter's men are determined to avoid a third consecutive defeat.
Hlanti scored Amakhosi's only goal against Royal AM, his first for the Naturena outfit since joining from rivals Swallows FC.
“When you look at the guys at training, the positive attitude is there, the mentality that we have and the character that we are showing is positive. We still have more games to play, and we will give it our best,” Hlanti told the Amakhosi website.
“The way we train we are well prepared to go and face Gallants, given that we lost the last game, it is going to be a tough one for them. We know that we owe the team so much after the loss, no one is happy and the fans to deserve to be happy.”
