Following the latest reports linking Cape Town City midfielder Thabo Nodada with a move to Orlando Pirates, the player’s agent has commented on the future of the influential midfielder.
Social media has been abuzz on Tuesday morning, with rumours that Nodada could be one of the transfer window deadline deals, with the Buccaneers rumoured to be his likely destination, this despite City boss John Comitis recently confirming a failed overseas move for the player.
As reported by the Siya crew, Comitis confirmed that a proposed move to Turkey for Nodada failed due to injury.
Sources in the know revealed that Bucs and Kaizer Chiefs have had their offers for Nodada fall short of the Mother City club’s valuation of the player and that the two Soweto giants were turned down in their pursuit of the Bafana Bafana international.
Regarding the latest reports linking Nodada with Pirates, the player’s agent Jazzman Mahlakgane refuted the news as speculation.
“Nodada is staying with his club. There is no truth to the rumours that the player is anywhere else besides his club. I don’t think there will be any move for him (in this transfer window),” said Mahlakgane, speaking to the Siya crew.
