Mamelodi Sundowns are aware of the threat posed by a former player who recently signed for Chippa United.
After they both registered 1-0 victories on match day one of the DStv Premiership, Chippa and Sundowns meet this evening at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, in a game which Manqoba Mngqithi feels set pieces will play a big role.
And a man who poses a threat to Sundowns is Mogakolodi Ngele, who has the ability to whip in dangerous crosses into the box from set pieces. The Botswana international has scored some beauties in his time in the PSL from dead ball situations, so Sundowns will try not to give away cheap set pieces around their box when they meet up with the Chilli Boys.
"I am expecting a tough match, knowing Gavin Hunt. Even the goal they scored was from a set piece. They have got some strong players, (Roscoe) Petersen, (Sammy) Seabi, Zulu and even Eva Nga. Tsotso Ngele is also a big factor with the set pieces because he is good aerially and he is good in and around the box with direct free kicks, so you can expect a game that will have a lot of aerial duals and it will have a lot of bite because Chippa works very hard. You know Gavin's teams are never easy to break down," Mngqithi told the Siya crew.
