Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Rene Richards still not convinced that changes at Naturena can stop the dominance of Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Premiership.
Amakhosi made wholesale changes ahead of the new season by bringing back coach Stuart Baxter and making marquee signings in Njabulo Ngcobo and Keagan Dolly.
As much as Richards believes his former club will do much better than last season, he cannot predict whether they will go all the way to win league title.
"I think Chiefs they will do well this season, but I wouldn't say they will win the league. We will have to see how they do in the first couple of games," Richards told the Siya crew "Sundowns still have more depth and experience to dominate the league, as I said, we will have to see as the season progresses."
The KZN-born former player also predicts how AmaZulu, Golden Arrows, Maritzburg United and Royal AM will do this season, as he strongly believes they will be challenging for the top eight spot.
"As for KZN teams, I see them doing well and finishing in the top eight. It is going to be another exciting season for the province."
