DStv Premiership side Swallows FC has confirmed to have handed a new deal to one of their key players.
The contract of experienced midfielder Musa Nyatama expired at the end of June and now it has been confirmed to the Siya crew that the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder has penned a new deal at the club, keeping him in Soweto for at least another season.
The 33-year-old joined Swallows before the start of last season following a brief spell with Highlands Park and did well in the middle of the park for the Dube Birds, showing he still has a lot left in his tank as the Soweto outfit impressed in their first season in the DStv Premiership.
He made 25 appearances in all competitions for the Dube Birds last season and scored one goal, in a 1-1 draw against his former side Sundowns. He made a big contribution for the club last season and has been rewarded with a new deal, after talks went well.
"Yes, he has committed. I would not be able to tell you for how long, but I can tell you that he he has committed to Swallows this season going forward," Swallows team manager Elasto Kapowezha told the Siya crew.
