After spending the last few weeks training with a host of DStv Premiership teams, including Orlando Pirates, the Siya crew can confirm that talented goalkeeper King Ndlovu has finally penned a deal.
As reported by the crew last week, Ndlovu had been training with Marumo Gallants, this after training stints with both Chippa United and Orlando Pirates, none of which quite worked out.
Now, after some digging by the crew, it has since been revealed that Gallants have decided to add the former Black Leopards goalkeeper to their roster ahead of the new season.
The crew reached out to Gallants for comment, with the club’s media manager Rufus Matsena confirming that the 27-year-old has put pen to paper with the Polokwane-based outfit.
“Yes, it is true that Ndlovu has been signed by us, that one I can confirm,” Matsena told the crew.
In addition, Matsena informed the crew that one of the club’s standout players has extended his deal with the team, amid reports linking him with newly-promoted Sekhukhune United.
“Arubi is also here, remember that certain publications said he had signed with Sekhukhune, but he has extended his contract with us, so we can’t say he is back, because he never left,” he added.
Gallants now have three goalkeepers ahead of the new campaign in Arubi, Ndlovu, and Simon Mamudzidi, while the crew can confirm that Brighton Mhlongo underwent an eye operation on Tuesday.
