After announcing their new signing in Khethukuthula Ndlovu, who joined from Uthongathi FC, Swallows could be set to confirm another new addition to the squad.
The Siya crew has learnt that Swallows are closing in on winger Dillon Solomons with the view to add him to coach Brandon Truter’s team for the 2021/22 season.
Solomons finished the 2020/21 season playing for Cape Town All Stars in the second tier, having joined the club last year from Stellenbosch FC.
Indications are that the 22-year-old could return to the topflight with Swallows, with sources confirming that a deal might have already been agreed to in principle and expected to be announced in the coming days.
Having lost some key players from their squad of last season, following the departures of Sifiso Hlanti, Njabulo Ngcobo, Kgaogelo Sekgota and Given Thibedi to Kaizer Chiefs, Swallows are expected to be busy in the transfer window to strengthen the squad for their second season on return to Mzansi’s topflight.
