AmaZulu have identified Mwape Musonda as a transfer target.

A Zambian international striker and a former top goalscorer in Mzansi’s top-flight could be set for a return to the league as one of the top clubs is showing serious interest in his services for the upcoming season.
After finishing the 2020/21 season in second place on the DStv Premiership log and expected to campaign in the CAF Champions League as things stand, AmaZulu have identified Mwape Musonda as a transfer target.
Musonda, 30, has been playing for Hatta Club in the United Arab Emirates, although he finished the season with Al-Sahel Club in Saudi Arabia on loan.
The burly forward, who previously played for Orlando Pirates and Golden Arrows, left Mzansi last year after ending his successful two-year spell with Black Leopards.
Sources close to Usuthu have confirmed to the Siya crew that Musonda is on top of the list of targets for the KwaZulu-Natal giants, with the Durban-based club expected to finalise a deal with him in the coming days, if all goes according to plan.
