According to the schedule sent to member clubs on Monday afternoon, the campaign will kick-off with the MTN8 next month and then the DStv Premiership follows a week later – defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns hosting AmaZulu.
It’s a clash between the last season’s first and second places sides and should get the Premiership off to a flying start on a Friday evening.
Then on Saturday are five matches and only two matches scheduled for Sunday.
