As Kaizer Chiefs prepare to take on arguably the biggest game in their history, we look at players who could turn out to be match-winners for the Soweto giants.

Chiefs are just hours away from taking to the pitch to face Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League final in Casablanca, Morocco. We look at players who could prove to be heroes for Amakhosi.

Bruce Bvuma

It remains to be seen who will start in goal for Amakhosi this evening, but if form is anything to go by, Bvuma is likely to get the nod to play in between the poles for the Soweto giants. In the semi-final against Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca, he showed that he is indeed capable of being the club's number one shot-stopper for years to come, as he made saves to ensure the attack minded north African side did not get a goal in both legs. It's not only the in-field players who can be heroes for Amakhosi.

Samir Nurkovic

It has not been the best of seasons for Nurkovic, but he is one player Amakhosi can put their hopes on for success tonight. He scored the only goal in the semi-final clash against Wydad Casablanca. All three of Nurkovic's goal in the Champions League this season have been scored in the knockout phase and he could be the man to find a chink in the Al Ahly armour. He has one assist to go with the three goals he has scored.

Mulomowandau Mathoho

Probably strange to see the name of a defender, but Mathoho has risen to the occasion both at the back and upfront for Amakhosi in the Champions League. He has scored three goals in this season's competition and is the club's all-time top scorer in the competition with four goals. He will be a threat whenever Chiefs have set pieces in the Al Ahly half.

Leonardo Castro

The Colombian striker will be looking to get his hands on a second Champions League gold medal, having won it in 2016 with Mamelodi Sundowns. He and Nurkovic are usually a threat upfront with their strength and height. He has scored two goals in the competition and is a potential hero for the Soweto giants.
