Stuart Baxter will be crucial to the decision around players at Kaizer Chiefs expected to join rivals Swallows

Stuart Baxter will be crucial to the decision around players at Kaizer Chiefs expected to join rivals Swallows, with one already discussed with the Dube Birds.
This is after the Glamour Boys successfully concluded talks with their Soweto neighbours for the transfer of defender Njabulo Ngcobo.
Indications are that part of the deal was for Amakhosi to send a few of their players to Swallows either on loan or permanently, but there’s no final decision on that just yet, given Chiefs still need a full roster of their squad for the CAF Champions League final on July 17.
Swallows will be returning for pre-season soon and coach Brandon Truter will be eager to learn which new players are arriving from Chiefs, with Yagan Sasman, Philani Zulu an Dumisani Zuma the only names mentioned so far.
But the stumbling block with Zuma is the fact that he is currently out injured and only expected back in action around September.
Sasman was a bit part player under Gavin Hunt, while Zulu featured a lot more, though he was also in and out of the team.
But with Baxter back, Sasman started both semifinal legs against Wydad Casablanca in the Champions League – but Siya sources have indicated the coach will only make a call on who stays and who goes later this month.
It’s likely that more names will emerge over the coming days since Amakhosi will be making announcements regarding new players after the FIFA ban was lifted on July 1.
