The Siya crew had already reported on Kwanda Mngonyama leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of this month.
The Team of Choice have now confirmed three more exits, with Jethren Barr, Daniel Morgan, and Dusan Stevic set to leave the club.
“We would like to extend our sincere well wishes to Kwanda, Daniel, Jethren and Dusan for their future endeavours,” Maritzburg Chairman Farook Kadodia told the club's official website.
"Jethren's contract had come to an end and we decided to release him. With Daniel and Kwanda, we elected not to take up options to extend their stays. We would like to thank the four for their hard work and commitment in the club’s cause, which has been much appreciated and valued.”
The Team of Choice, who finished the season in 13th spot, also confirmed that there are negotiations going on with other players
"Maritzburg United are still in negotiations with a few other players and we will announce our plans to bring on board new players in the upcoming weeks," the statement concluded.
