Golden Arrows surprisingly parted ways with coach Mandla Ncikazi after a successful season, but Makhosonke Bhengu has expressed his disapproval of the move.
Arrows, under coach Ncikazi secured their best-ever finish in the DStv Premiership after clinching fourth spot and many expected the club to back him to make sure they maintain their success.
After parting ways earlier this week, Bhengu expected the club to keep the coach to compete for more next season.
"Allowing coach Mandla Ncikazi to leave it not a good choice, not after what he has achieved with Golden Arrows, he did everything to build the club to become competitive in the league," Bhengu told the Siya crew.
"He made players believe in themselves and today those players are wanted by big teams, he made a huge impact to the club and I believe next season with him they were going to compete and even win a trophy.
"I don't understand and not happy with the decision, it really painful but nothing we can do."
Ncikazi has since been appointed as part of the Orlando Pirates technical team, as confirmed by the club on Friday.
