Pollen Ndlanya Calls For Change In Chiefs' Recruitment Policy
Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Pollen Ndlanya has called for change at Naturena.
Amakhosi are in danger of finishing outside the Top 8 and have had a challenging season, resulting in protest action by fans.
Ndlanya speaking to the Siya crew, says he is in support of the protest, hoping that will remind the club that fans are very important and deserve to be respected.
"No it happens all over the world, fans are stakeholders and they are so disappointed to see the team in that way. I feel they deserve to be respected and know what is happening because this is not the Kaizer Chiefs we know."
Trompies says it would be unfair to focus on Gavin Hunt only while the real problem is with the players. The former star wants the recruitment policy to be re-assessed.
"Chiefs needs quality players, this is not Hunt's problem because even if they can bring Pep Guardiola, they will still have the same problems because their biggest challenge is the players, not coach," he added.
"They need to find someone who is good in signing players like you see at Mamelodi Sundowns, they don't compromise in terms of getting good players. Once they get good players then you will see change."
