Tshegofatso Mabasa has been sent an encouraging message by a teammate.
Following his outstanding performance in Orlando Pirates’ 3-0 victory on Thursday evening, striker Tshegofatso Mabasa has been sent an encouraging message by a teammate.
Mabasa netted two goals as Pirates defeated Black Leopards at the Orlando Stadium to move to fourth place on the DStv Premiership log.
It was only a second start of the campaign for Mabasa as he struggled for game-ime under Josef Zinnbauer since returning from an injury that delayed his progress earlier in the season.
Gabadinho Mhango, who has also been in and out of the German mentor’s line-ups this season, scored the other goal as the Soweto giants registered their 11th win of the season from 25 league matches.
Zakhele Lepasa, who has been out since December due to injury, has sent Mabasa an encouraging message to congratulate him on his performance and progress.
“I pray that God keeps showing off with you @TshegoMabaso. You’ve been through so much and people don’t know that. You’re a winner, a true champion!” the 24-year-old said in his message on Twitter.
