Asante Kotoko to return to Baba Yara Sports Stadium next season

Asante Kotoko to return to home ground as David Obeng Nyarko has confirmed
Interim Asante Kotoko Communications Manager, David Obeng Nyarko has confirmed the team will return to their home grounds next season.
The record Ghana Premier League champions have been out from their home grounds due to renovations works which started in 2019. The Reds were expected to their home grounds in the second half of the season.
But eight games to end the 2020/21 football season, Kotoko will be back to the Baba Yara Stadium for then 2021/22 football season.
"We have been playing our home games away from home because we are playing at the Baba Yara Stadium," he told Kumasi based Pure FM.
"We all know that government is helping to renovate the stadium and we are grateful to government.
"Asante Kotoko will be back to the Baba Yara Stadium next season. We know the fans are missing the team but hopefully, we will back to our home grounds."
He also praised the players for their commitment despite playing away from home.
"The players have done extremely well," he said.
"They have been playing away from home but they always remain their composure and keep their professionalism level high.
"It has not been easy but the board and the management are impressed," he added.
Asante Kotoko will be hosted by Aduana Stars in the matchday 27 games at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park this weekend.
