Mamelodi Sundowns former defender Thabo Nthethe

Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Thabo Nthethe has admitted he is worried about the lack of interest shown in his services.
Nthethe has been without a club since he parted ways with TS Galaxy in 2020, following a short stint with the side in the GladAfrica Championship.
The 36-year-old has admitted to the Siya crew that he has been looking for employment, but nothing has come his way in terms of concrete offers. Nthethe remains patient and hopeful that something will come his way in the near future.
Despite not getting offers for his services, Nthethe will not rush into making a decision about his career.
"Nothing has come yet. I've been looking, that's pretty much it. I am waiting," the former Bloemfontein Celtic captain tells the Siya crew.
"I'd say I am okay, I am fine. It does (worry), but I am remain hopeful that I will get a team."
Meanwhile, another former Sundowns player who is looking for a club is veteran defender Wayne Arendse, who has recently been training with University of Pretoria to keep fit.
Both Nthethe and Arendse bring loads of experience, having had successful careers. They are both CAF Champions League winners.
