Bradley Grobler

SuperSport United have provided a crucial update on the fitness of their star striker Bradley Grobler.
Grobler, who is the league’s leading goalscorer this season with 13 strikes to his name, has been missing in Matsatsantsa’s last three games.
It comes as no surprise that in that time, the Tshwane outfit has scored just one goal, with their main striker not available due to an injury he picked up in their 1-0 loss to AmaZulu early in March.
Now, in an exclusive interview with the Siya crew, SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo has provided an update on when the 33-year-old can be expected back in action.
“With Bradley, I think he’s two to three weeks away from coming back to full fitness. It was an ankle injury. He tried to come back you know, but he was not ready so we had to delay his return a little bit and give him more time to recover, so he might be back earlier than expected,” Tembo told the Siya crew.
SuperSport, who next take on high-flying Golden Arrows, are winless in their last six games and will be hoping to turn the tide against the KZN outfit next Wednesday.
“You know we have been unlucky in terms of results but all we can do is focus on the performance and work a little bit harder and look ahead and not really focus on the negatives, we need to be a bit more positive and take all the positives that we can going into our next game that’s very important for us.”
