Leicester City announce Iheanacho has signed new contract till 2024

The Premier league is back with lots of fixtures on the book this weekend. Many players has returned and already had some training with their various teams.

Meanwhile, Nigeria Kelechi Iheanacho who officially returned back the premier league side has put down to paper a new contract with Leicester City.

The Foxes are happy to see one of their foreman secure more years with the club.

According to the official statement made on the Leicester City's website, The Super Eagles Striker will remain at the King Power Stadium until at least 2024.

The Former Manchester City product was in a burning form last month, scoring in all match appearances he made.

However, The 2013 U17 World Cup Golden Ball Winner has bag seven goals in four matches and was recently the Player of the Month in the premier league.

Expressing his thought over his new contract, Iheanacho said: "I can’t express how I’m feeling. I’m excited, I’m happy, I’m overwhelmed! It’s a great moment and I’m happy that Leicester City gave me a new contract.

"It’s been a great time here. It’s not been easy, but there’s a lot of people here that are good people, great people to work with.

"They are nice people and they make me feel comfortable and welcome since I came in. "It’s been really great being here. It’s like a family. I’m happy being here and hopefully I can stay here many more years."

The Foxes 'Senior Man' has been able to make 117 appearances for Leicester City in all competitions while scoring 32 goals.
