Leon Balogun

Rangers has offered a one year fresh contract extension to German-Nigeria born defender Leon Balogun.
However, according to Scottish Sun, The Central defender was automatically awarded a fresh one-year deal by the Scottish Premiership champions Rangers after competing much games which enabled the deal.
The Super Eagles and previous Brighton & Hove player only needed to make 23 starts in all events to fire a deal extension and he reached the threshold after he was selected in the first lineup in the Old Firm derby versus Celtic in Rangers' last game before the international break.
However, before now the 32 year old star have been so impressive since his arrival to the Light Blues last summer, helping the club keep sixteen clean sheets in all competitions in the matches in he was involved in.
Balogun has probably proven his versatility in recent games operating as a right-back, bagging two assists in four games.
He has also helped the Super Eagles to keep unconquered results in the 2021 Africa cup of Nations qualifying matches against the Republic of Benin and Lesotho.
