Pirates and Enyimba will both look to go top of group A when they square off at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. Both sides are currently in a rich vein of form in their respective domestic and continental campaigns.
It is the Nigerian side who currently lead the way in the group following a 2-1 win over Ahly Bengazhi last week with Augustine Oladapo and Victor Mbaoma securing victory on the day.
Captain Oladapo, who has been in mesmerizing form for his side this campaign is one of the dangerman who Pirates need to be wary of.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has scored three goals in 11 appearances this season and was on target in their last match.
The skipper has also sent out a clear message on their agenda when they face the Buccaneers on Wednesday.
“The game against Ahly Benghazi was a good game for us and a morale booster, the game has built our confidence and we will love to continue our winning run. The game is a big battle because whosoever wins goes top of the group, Pirates are a good side, but we are here in (South Africa) for a win,” Oladapo told Enyimba’s official website.
